Ethan Paul Smith
Was born on 11 Janurary 2007 at Auckland Hopsital in New Zealand and was cared for in PICU for 19
days at Starship Childrens Hospital in Auckland. Ethan was 6 weeks premature and weighed 4 pounds 0
ouncez.
since birth Ethan was doing really well and his doctors and Nurses were all surprised at how well he
was doing...but then Ethan took a turn for the worse leading up to his 3rd week in PICU. His Stats
began to drop and would not pick back up again the doctors and nurses did all they could for him but
nothing seemed to be helping.
Ethan Died on 30 Janurary 2007 he was 19 days old, he lived in Auckland New Zealand...he died from a
birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH)

Sorry for your loss of your lovely baby Ethan. I feel for you. I know what its like for a baby to die. My sister lost her baby Ethan only 3 minutes old and it affected us all badly. I miss him more than anything and i just want him back in are arms. I wish and wish but i know its just impossibe. I offer love and sypathy to you and your family. Sweet dreams ethan. R.I.P

Everyday a mother misses her son. but every day a son misses his mother. When she smiles, he smiles too. When she cries, he hugs her and weeps. She may not see him, but he sees her. And every day he is there to insure she is ok. It may have been his time but he will never completly leave as he is waiting for the ones he loves, who love him to be ready. His love is healing and will always be there as will the love fom his parents. Never feel alone, little ethan is always there. Don't be affraid to be upset, he unterstands and is closer to you. You will be loved everyday for the rest of your life and beyound.
